Jesus is not merely one symbol among many. He is the Gate, the Lamb, the cleansing fountain, the Light, the Bread, the High Priest and Intercessor, the torn Veil, and the One who brings us into the Father’s presence.
Because Christ has fulfilled the pattern, believers can use it as a practical guide for approaching God with thanksgiving, faith, repentance, dependence, Scripture, intercession, confidence, and rest.
